The U.S. Navy's杜魯門-class aircraft carrier suffered significant damage after colliding with a cargo ship in the Mediterranean.

The U.S. Navy conducted recovery operations for an EA-18G "Whale" electronic warfare aircraft that sank in the Santa Monica Port.

According to U.S. media reports, since early this year, U.S. military ships and aircraft have experienced numerous accidents involving both naval and air forces. These accidents are complex in cause and costly in terms of loss, revealing significant vulnerabilities in U.S. military management and readiness.

Accidents have become more frequent at the start of the year.

A report states that the U.S. Air Force's F-35A fighter jet has already experienced an accident this year. On January 28, a F-35A fighter from the 354th Air Attack Group, Air Force Reserve, at the U.S. Air Force's E-Base in Esrange, Alaska, crashed during training, causing extensive damage to the aircraft.

On January 29, a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from the 12th Air Operations Command crashed during nighttime training near the RIC airport in Los Angeles. The crash occurred with a commercial jet operated by a U.S. airline, resulting in the deaths of all crew members on both aircraft.

On February 6, a small aircraft,租用 by the U.S. Department of Defense, crashed in the Philippines. The plane, originally scheduled to execute a secret mission to the Cebu island, was lost in the South Maguana瑙 province. Four people were on board, allPerished, including three defense contractors and a U.S. Navy Seabee electronic warfare expert.

On February 12, an EA-18G "Whale" electronic warfare aircraft from the U.S. Navy crashed in the vicinity of the Santa Monica Port. Simultaneously, the U.S. Navy's杜魯門-class aircraft carrier suffered collisions in the Mediterranean's eastern area with a vessel named "Beysektas"-M. The damage to the carrier's above-water sections forced it to sail to the Greek island of Crete for repairs. Despite U.S. Defense Department claims of no casualties or nuclear contamination, the visible cracks on the ship left the U.S. in a vulnerable position.

While the U.S. military is investigating these accidents and dealing with public Relations issues, additional safety issues have come to light through foreign media reports. For example, the "Stok戴爾"號 destroyer, originally scheduled to join a carrier task force, encountered system and component failures, forcing it to dock in Japan's Hikone Port for maintenance. U.S. Secretary of State's flight from his Air Force One aircraft due to technical issues has raised questions about the U.S. military's equipment availability. On February 15, a MV-22魚鷹 tilt-rotor helicopter crashed in the Philippines, pushing the type into the public eye. Additionally, the U.S. Air Force has decided to delay the "Sounding}//"missile system project due to funding and maintenance shortages, and has postponed its readiness review. The U.S. Navy's Los Angeles-class nuclear submarine force at Guernsey is reported to have exceeded its service life, causing the force to be unable to operate.

More serious problems have been exposed.

美國傳統(tǒng)軍工企業(yè)也面臨較大壓力。2024年波音公司的危機(jī)尚未平息，F(xiàn)-35A戰(zhàn)斗機(jī)和MV-22傾轉(zhuǎn)旋翼機(jī)的安全事故可能加劇國內(nèi)外對洛克希德·馬丁等美國軍火公司的不信任。尤其是F-35A戰(zhàn)斗機(jī)作為主力外銷產(chǎn)品，安全性能不穩(wěn)定可能影響其在國際市場上的聲譽(yù)。
