財聯(lián)社3月10日訊（記者 周子意）在最近的一次采訪中，美國總統(tǒng)唐納德·特朗普并未否認(rèn)關(guān)稅政策對美國經(jīng)濟(jì)帶來的不確定影響，而是強(qiáng)調(diào)當(dāng)前經(jīng)濟(jì)正經(jīng)歷一段"過渡期"。

至于美國今年是否會面臨經(jīng)濟(jì)衰退，特朗普并未排除這一可能性。

衰退風(fēng)險

上周，亞特蘭大聯(lián)儲的GDPNow模型大幅下調(diào)了美國第一季度GDP的預(yù)期，從而加劇了市場對經(jīng)濟(jì)衰退的擔(dān)憂。

在采訪中，特朗普對媒體表示："我討厭預(yù)測這類事件。當(dāng)前經(jīng)濟(jì)正經(jīng)歷一段過渡期，原因是我們正在進(jìn)行一項(xiàng)重大舉措，即將把財富帶回美國，這需要時間。"

特朗普的這一表態(tài)旨在淡化其關(guān)稅政策對經(jīng)濟(jì)的潛在影響，暗示其全面的經(jīng)濟(jì)議程可能會帶來短期的動蕩，但長期來看將推動經(jīng)濟(jì)的復(fù)蘇。

值得一提的是，周日晚些時候，在總統(tǒng)專機(jī)"空軍一號"上，特朗普對記者表示："誰知道呢？"

市場震蕩加劇

在周日的采訪中，特朗普還提到了近期股市的震蕩。股市在經(jīng)歷了今年強(qiáng)勁的開局后，最近幾周出現(xiàn)了大幅波動。

過去一周，特朗普政府在關(guān)稅政策上的反復(fù)調(diào)整導(dǎo)致市場出現(xiàn)了劇烈震蕩，標(biāo)準(zhǔn)普爾500指數(shù)上周跌幅達(dá)到3.3%。

On this occasion, when Trump was asked whether the U.S.-Mexico and U.S.-Canada tariffs on certain goods were the cause of the recent decline in U.S. stock prices, he responded, "I want to build a strong nation. You cannot really watch the stock market," deferring to the fact that he was not in a position to watch the stock market, and thus sidestepped the issue of tariffs.

On Tuesday（March 4th）, Trump, as expected, imposed a 25% tariff on imports from Mexico and Canada. Less than a day later, in a surprising move, he announced that he would pause the tariffs on U.S. imports from Mexico and Canada, first extending the relief to the three major auto manufacturers, which would receive a one-month exemption from tariffs under a commitment he made, and subsequently expanding the relief to all goods that conform to the rules of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Free Trade Agreement.

During an interview, Trump added, "I plan to stop this kind of flexibility in the coming month. I want to help U.S. auto manufacturers, so I gave them a little breathing room in the short term... This is a transition into April, and I will only do this once. After that, I won't have this kind of luxury."
